Contractor Work

Just curious, anyone know of anyone who's left Chevron, but came back on contract basis?

If you don't know, you haven't been at CVX for long and/or you don't know much. Quit the fishing expeditions, trolls.

Can be done. Must wait at least a year if you take a severance package (or pay it back). If you take a pension distribution then you must wait 3 years or work less than 50% of previous capacity (after 6 months).

Yes, but hard HR rule not for at least 6 months. Also if you take severance not for two years at full time. The latter rules might not be hard as it is also sort of stupid given how fast commodity prices can change..

Yes. It’s all who you know and who you give a kickback too.

Yes, GOM has a contractor that left the company in 2016. The contractor has been back since 2018.
