Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

.

This is not about layoffs. But what I want to know is when Honeywell is going to pay us for all this time getting into the building due to covid-19 if Honeywell is requiring us to be tested every morning they need to pay for it. It takes an extra 5 to 10 minutes everyday to get punched in. If this is want Honeywell wants they need to pay for it.

How many 5 to 10 minutes per day do you stand around and shoot the bull or hang at the coffee pot in the break room or stand outside either smoking or visiting with the smokers? They don't make you punch out for that do they. I'm sure you more than make that 5 to 10 minutes up in accumulated F'ing-Off time.

If I started my PC every morning, it takes 15 minutes for it to fully boot up sometimes. Which is why I usually leave it on overnight. That's $ I'm not getting if I did it every morning. But I don't go around whining about it. I just leave my PC on.

Silly to be worried about a few minutes a day when you probably sit on a toilet 20 minutes a day. Id be more aggitated about how I worked my butt off for a year, told Id get a good raise, and then back out of giving it.

So you know which 4% are going to get it in advance? If not, cork it.

All this BS panic about a virus that k–ls less than 4% (if you believe the inflated number and fear mongers in the media) of the people that get it. S— it up, buttercup! You're more likely to for in a car wreck or from an opiate overdose.

In Olathe they have a computer set up near the door for you to clock in if you so desire.

So, it takes 10 minutes to get checked in. Many other businesses are doing the same thing. I am totally OK with them checking peoples, temps, etc. on days when I need to go into the office and am not working from home (Phoenix Deer Valley). Better safe than sorry in this Covid environment. (never thought about it, but it would be nice if the company would somehow "adjust" work start times to allow for the few minutes of extra checkin.)

Keep detailed logs. Photos if possible. I assume you are on a punch clock. If so request in writing a time card adjustment each and every week. Dont complain until someone refuses the correction. Must be request in the week it occurs.

3 posts is function of hitting post 3 times, any decent website has preventative measures to prevent this

It is really silly to post the same thing 3 times.

Is it really silly? at this point they owe me a few hundred dollars already. If they are requiring it for you to work then they have to pay for it. just like if you were getting dressed to go into a clean room.

Everything you just listed is completely unrelated. Screening is a Honeywell requirement, therefore everyone should be paid.

Same day they will pay for traffic delays, missing socks, dog puking and everything else that makes you late.
