R4 jobs available vs how many people applying. Does anyone have this information?

For those who are on the EOI fence you should put some thought into the amount of work you will be expected to perform due to a smaller organization, new people in seat and those that were selected solely based on chevrons ratio objectives for minorities. Do you really want to work in these conditions? The R4 workload will be exhausting and less rewarding then ever before. Something to think about
R4 4785 times 160K per employee => 765MM saved per year
Chevron has no loyalty to any of its workers. Look after yourself. CVX sure does
Let’s say you land a position in R4. How much loyalty will you feel back to the company knowing what you know today? Just asking for a friend. LOL
8400 / 13241 = a lot more than 10-15%
I don’t believe those numbers below. To many Trolls on here.
HR say 13,241 from 8,456 = 10-15%
Management agrees
Interesting. We had some one posting very specific numbers here related to R3, and they turned out to be true. So these below might be also. That would indicate %36 left standing... which is close to the “about one third” I was told by someone higher up than I. In R3 we were lucky to have a good number of EOI, but that percent will not be as high in R4. All that said the cull will not be at all uniform: some entire groups are getting cut and others a little hair trimming. Good luck everyone!
There are 13,241 people in R4 and there are 8,456 jobs available.
I wish they would have been more honest about it, even if to say “we’d prefer not to release that information”. But I guess it doesn’t really matter...it is what it is.
What happened to all the frequent communication with LT? They kinda disappeared.
I heard the IT function reduction is close to 40% reduction. Good luck in this blood bath!
They don't want you to know. Silence results in less need to explain. More people are going home than they are willing to say. A small % of higher psg employees are moving down to round 4. Its going to be brutal; 20% - 25 % of round 4 will be out of a job in short order. $hit rolls downhill.
You know that "we don't know...haven't finalized" answer is bull-c-ap. They posting the jobs tomorrow and don't know how many there are ball park or how many people are in scope? All the people they sent notification emails to. Don't be ridiculous.
The transformation website says over 10,000 employees are in scope for R4. It may be possible to see the total number of jobs in the tool tomorrow morning. Although it might be skewed because departments bundle positions so you only have to apply to one submission while it counts for several available seats. Example: DSR, 8 available positions.
This question was asked 4 different ways today at the Session A event. “We don’t have those numbers.” Seems like if there were any numbers to be had then those would be the ones.
