Are the lay offs Only this week or will it continue for a few more weeks? When will we know? When will this nightmare end?

What’s the reason behind doing this once a month, mid-month? That’s pure torture - death by a thousand cuts. Just rip the bandaid off.
Agree with the prior response. Will add that layoffs generally happen around mid-minth so you are probably safe until October 15th and for 30 day increments after that.
pack your bags and keep them packed.
the marketable and smart employees will be en mass removing themselves from the company.
Dell decided not to invest in their employees. You should plan likewise.
