Nothing will happen this Thursday. It is not a pay week. Axe flies on pay weeks.
You sound like an SMB specialist who’s in denial.
Nothing is going to happen to the SMB specialist roles, they are not easily replaceable... But BCGO had massive layoffs recently! VZW has been slowly contracting outside agencies to place orders for them! Outsourcing is Verizon's future! Just mentally and financially prepare for the the ax coming down!
I would expect more announcements closer to the end of Q3. You know, to show the shareholders how agile Verizon is. And yea it will be a Thursday like always.
I mean there are a lot of announcements today about sups moving back to being reps and reps moving back to taking calls if they were on Temporary assignments like goal trainers or interim sups. Lot of shakeup being announced today or realignment. A lot of these sups that have been sups for years aren’t gonna go back to being care reps so so it’s forcing them to quit basically. We are lucky to have jobs during the pandemic and jobs where we can work from home so I’d take the care job if I were them and find a new job later when the virus settles down.
