They haven't revealed anything yet to whomever said the timeline was said. Honestly they have no idea what they are doing. The big boss contradicts himself, then the mini hees, shees repeat boys message. Total wait of everyones time.

@Secret Santa - musical chairs indeed
Survived the July 2017 layoffs and I have no idea how anything of value gets done here. On a good day, the matrix is a f— all to navigate.
2017 restructure used same months-long, phased approach. everything ground to a halt because either people were let go and positions hadn’t been filled yet or divisions were actively going through cuts.
Morale and productivity tanked. People looking for other jobs or a– kissing to keep theirs.
Months later, we had new teams and the division strategy that took a year to plan, resource, etc., got shelved by someone new who reverted back to something done 2-3 leaders ago.
Another year goes by and just as you’re about to execute - musical chairs again. Someone new moves in, another gets hit with political sniper fire and goes out, or moves elsewhere internally
Since 2017, I’ve seen..
2 org-wide restructures
2 division-wide reorgs
Team renames, formations, accountabilities etc.(each year for the last 5 hrs)
Total sh– show. But if you want to continue to pay me $210k, Im down. And if not and my time is up this time around, thank you and I’ll go bop somewhere else.
Yes, HR can go f— themselves and rot in hell. Especially you HG, there’s a special place reserved for you c–ty.
F— Nike and I hope the company crumbles and goes bankrupt. Ready for your abusive comments now...
They’ve already revealed the timeline. The new broader leadership team will be in place October 2nd. This will be done in a phased manner, and each phase will be roughly the same length. It takes a while to build the org framework and negotiate who fills the boxes.
How many phases will there be? I guess is 3 more. It’s 10 weeks until October 2nd, so each phase will be roughly 3 weeks.
The nervousness is not derived simply from my own well being. I will survive, we will all survive and evolve, successfully. We will lose colleagues and relationships, it’s a loss. It’s ok to recognize that and grieve that. I’ve been through several reorgs, I still love working for Nike. I never lost the energy nor enthusiasm. I’ve never thought of the company as a parent but I’ve felt like colleagues were part of my family. This is a difficult process.
We won’t see layoffs till next week. I’m sure they will start the process next week.
Honestly, you should be spending 100% of your time figuring out your exit plan rather than worrying about when/how Nike is going to d*** you over. Even if you survive the layoffs you will never have the same enthusiasm and drive that you did when you started there. The best thing you can do it leave Nike on your own terms. If you're lucky it's with a nice severance.
Haha nothing is happening tomorrow. They're gonna drag this out nice and slow for you.
don't know. i'm sorry you're in the position that you are nervous.
I don't know ask Kaepernick. Get woke, go broke!
