Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Kellogg’s

For all the comments made about Kellogg’s and their “worth”, they just passed their 53 week high of stock value. For a company that only “has cheez-its” they seem to be kicking our butt!
We simply can’t compete till DSD is over! Need to get the monkey off our back!

Spot on! I’ve seen all of what you speak to, just gross! Not sure if it’s a company culture, but it is most definitely a culture GS has cultivated and promoted!
Until they shake things up, don’t expect to see any managerial changes!

The Tate and Corporate DSD whre has been preaching this sh* for 6-7 months and yet I have not touched a single Tate product. I only see them collecting dust and I have never been given any current news or a heads up here in Tennessee about the brand going DSD. I've seen enough writing on the wall to call B.S. Sales Reps in stores for less than 15 minutes barely correcting orders and not fully writing them while spendimg 30 minites to an hour chatting with management and non-management employees basically doing nothing else yet are still collecting a the same pay (for now), Walmart and Kroger going CAO and EDI in their ordering, Priceless IGA going full warehouse 1.5 months ago, reducing SKU's even before the covid crp came into existence, RMS Supervisors and the whole company riding on the backs of their reliable Full-time and Part-time SSRs/Merchandisers by feeding them more heavy ordered stores while avoiding confrontation with the lazy aes, District Managers sitting pretty at home not doing a f—ng thing about the sales reps who have been taking the kids out of the company for 30 years in some cases because they are chicken sts who avoid confrontation yet are real quick to blame sales associates and sets to cover their asses while promoting cheese-dks from within so they won't be called out for their laziness and procrastination.... I can go on forever. Mondelez has so much potential to be great yet it's held back by many individual corporate and management btt kissers who want to maintain todays standards so they can continue getting by with the bare minimum, if that; hence, they want the image but do not to put forth the full effort.

where is the guy who continues to post the dates for the announcements??? and now Tates in rolling into DSD. I get that CAO is happening and the industry is changing, DSD will change however the customer will get their margins and a form of DSD (FREE LABOR & FUEL FOR THE CUSTOMER) will stay intact. COVID has given DSD a want.. interms of reacting on the spot, getting labor into the stores and product on the shelf when in dire. This will not be the last pandemic now as these corona viruses just feed off each other with no 100% cure vaccine. However there will be a shift to ECOMM/PICK UP sites that will need a whole differnt type of labor force. DSD will scale down with reductions however will be around for awhile

Haha! Same company, different front runner, Mondelez will be the one to follow Kraft/Heinz down the toilet tank!
And I agree, no need to discuss stock! It’s about DSD, and it’s coming to an end! No brainer! Why would retailers invest all that money on syncing systems only to remain in a supply chain model that costs more? To get better orders? How about get better reps? If reps actually went to the store to order, that would be a start!

The growth thingy does not always mean much when your talking about U.S. DSD. Growth in China, India, Emerging markets, ect., is not the deciding factor in DSD here. Compare U.S. sales, revenues, expenses with theirs. Look at junk food consumption over the last decade. Why are you arguing about the stock market. Every one knows it's a scam right now with the corrupt fed dumping billions into it for political gain. Where do you think it would be if it actually reflected corporate profits.

I'll take 30% gain over 10% any day

Kellogg is still down $20 from there all time high in 2016 and down trending, while MDLZ hasn't stoped once on its way to the moon

You have no clue how to invest if you don't care about outstanding shares and market cap

Stocked Price means nothing without understanding that

Growth you say MDLZ is up 30% in 5 years

Kellogg's is up 10% in 5 years

So the growth is definitely on the MDLZ stock not Kellogg's

actually the post about healthier food is part of the reason nestle dumped the pizza dsd than sold the ice cream months later. they wanted to be the leaders in healthy alt. or so they told us. and yes dsd is coming to an end. without this pandemic it might have already happened. the true fact is that dsd has a lot of working parts which cost money. there is no more pieces of the pie to be had. dollars have to come from somewhere and cuting people, w-houses, trucks are options that make sense. companies like mondelez, nestle, kellogg can take the hit and rebound easily. giving corporate funding to stores, etc. just a matter of time. i saw signs from nestle about 3 years before but of course dsd was strong and why would meijer and walmart want to get rid of free labor etc. they never tell u the truth.

I care about my benefits from the rise or fall in the stock price, not how many shares are out there, etc! I’ve made tons of money from little companies! That’s the bottom line for most! Lots and lots of excuses or justifications, Mondelez is a dumpy stick and most analysts classify it as a “sell stock”! They sell c-ap! People don’t want c-ap anymore. 2/3 of sales are not in the US. When these emerging markets are done with the novelty of c-appy American food, things will get worse! They have done very little to build a portfolio that addresses consumers needs, they are way behind the industry on this! For a company of their size, they should be a leader! All they do is make new flavors of Oreo and try to recreate the magic of celebrating every products bday! What a joke!
I’ll invest my money in growth companies, just like my broker advised me to! Took everything out of Mondelez!

Total Shares X Share Price = market cap (the company's perceived vaule)

Kellogg's= $24 billion
Mondlez= $80 billion

They are kicking Kellogg's a– in vaule by 3.5x about

Kellogg's has about 340 million shares

Mondelz has about 1.43 billion shares hence way there share price is lower

Lol 🤣 there up $7-$8 in 5 years or 10-11% with a $24 billion market cap MDLZ is up $14 in 5 years and there market cap is almost 3x that at $80 billion

Stock price doesn't determine a better company market cap dose id–t learn the stock market before posting our company just has more shares out there hence the lower price
