From the Kool and the Gang "Celebrate" song leading us in, GS instantly in a mocking tone telling us there would not be any real information or announcements regarding layoffs as soon as it started (the only real transparency of the whole thing), playing the same BS "Transformative Growth" slides again, faking being transparent in the Q & A while not being the least bit so, and ending the sh*tshow with Pink Floyd's The Wall. These people are not fit to lead or run a lemonade stand. They think it's a game. They think it's a joke.

Does anyone else find GS laughing through the call offensive and obnoxious? GS: You lied to us about no layoffs, then announce layoffs. Do you actually think that you have us “in good hands?” No one trusts or respects you. The assessment was a joke! Those questions don’t score my skill set. Call it what it is....the company providing its 30% input if they want you to stay if go. This company was built on core values and all of those are now gone. Those at the top never saw a sears booth or sold a policy in an agents office.....remember, we are here because of the agents.
If you wanted to do the right thing, allow VTO. Don’t hold your good talent hostage (while we see how terrible you treat us). Only then will you see who respects and trusts you and what’s left of the company you are destroying.
I think GS should lead by example and resign since the layoffs are such a good thing in his words. He shows others that he is the leader he claims to be and knocks $5 million bones off the top of the $1billion savings pile to boot.
“It’s better to lay off employees in good times rather than bad times.”
I am no mason but if the employee is " just another brick in the wall " you take out enough bricks the wall is going to fall down
Tone deafness top to bottom
Amen
100%. Even DM's were pretty open about how badly it went and the choice of music was just appalling and insulting. They have no sense of reality.
