Men's Wearhouse, Jos. A. Banks parent Tailored Brands files for bankruptcy: report
Department store Lord & Taylor just file for bankruptcy. Sooner or later Macy's will follow the same path. It's just a matter of time. ⏳ 👀
The showdown is between Macys and the phenomenon of change.
And why buy a failing model in JCP and combine it w another brand of the same model?
Dumbest move ever !!
Belks owns the southern retail business
They won’t survive expanding
Their assortments aren’t suitable for entire country which makes them so successful in south.
Old saying- Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
Let JCP just go .
I remember Foley's Red Apple Sale 🍎 then Macy's turn it into the One Day Sale. 🤦
I agree. I never heard of belk. But jcpenny will be toast come fall
JCPenney will no longer exists, it will be transform into Belk Department store. Belk will probably buy JCPenney this fall season. I remember when Macy's bought Foley's department store, all the Foley's stores were transform into Macy's department stores. Belk wants to complete with Macy's, but Malls and department stores are dying and this pandemic is making the timeline faster.
