Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Glen Shapiro is reasonable.

He really is an executive that brings years of successful leadership to Allstate

Also, his compensation is essentially upper middle class, not super wealthy like some people here try to claim.

Glenn is good for quick wins but doesn’t hold his leaders to finish what he starts. Closed drive-ins, brought non customer facing jobs to home office and then allowed bonus level leaders with no employees to have jobs at the same cost structure for years. Where was C. Bendtsen? Good leaders need to ask, probe and understand

Glen is a sorry excuse for a PPL president. The company has not been performing well, pre covid, post covid. His salary does not reflect his performance. Glen & Tom & running this company into the ground.......

HAHAHA.. good one OP. I sense the over the top sarcasm in your comment. Glenn is greedy doosh and will bring Allstate to the lowest levels of the industry. Allstate will be staring eye to eye with Geico as far as places NOT to work pretty soon.

If you don’t think Glenn isn’t gunning for Tom’s seat to quadruple his annual earnings you are fooling yourself. Glenn’s next career move hinges on the “success” of this RIF and cutting costs to the bare bones, for the most productivity per employee. Right now he’s is in the “no loss of productivity” part of the playbook because that affects the bottom line. Hence the reason for Glenns’s meetings, jovial attitude and sweetening the Severance Policy. We are pawns in a bigger game OP.

Any guesses on the job title of the OP???I am guessing VP...
Someone so out of touch that he/she considers nearly 5 million a year “upper middle class.”
LOL....and they wonder why they are called out of touch..

Glen is an overpaid has been. He is not worth his salary of $4.6B.... Allstate has to do policy mergers from esurance & buy Nat Gen only way they can gain market share... Stock has gone down all year. Very unethical with over seas labor...The list goes on & on... Glen is a scumbag.
