Start laying folks off! Start with field hands and work up the ladder! That would be the wft way to manage nothing
I have 60 days vacation on the books ill be back maybe
Area managers with no one in the area to manage, seems like the next ones that should get their ticket punched.
Layoffs started at our plant today, and usually tell you this on a Friday so that way they can deliver the bad news as well as ruin your weekend at the same time.
Good luck to all of you who remain, I hope Weatherford makes it!
I guess their applications to join The Magic Circle got approved ...
How are they keeping the company going after 581 million loss in Second quarter and 966 million in First quarter?
Corporate buys the equipment. The yards make money wif the equipment and 30% goes back to corporate. Produce or die is the law of the jungle. Stop crying
"If everything is so rosy then explain why the CFO is exiting after the Q2 results?"
I initially wondered the same thing. However, upon further thought I have come to the conclusion that pure company financial outlook is only part of the overall reason for him leaving. I think there are other softer factors which may have contributed to his decision. No doubt we will have more information tomorrow after Q2 is posted.
Weatherford will continue to lose money even if it does manage to con it’s way into another chapter 11 agreement. Until the core issues are addressed, in particular the top heavy management structure bleeding off the revenue is culled then Weatherford will continue its downward spiral.
Too many chiefs and not enough Indians at Weatherford.
You can bring in ex employees as 1099 employees as needed. Better for everyone
I don’t know how the lists are being drawn up. All the experience in our product line has already been let go. One can’t get a knowledgeable answer to anything from those that remain.
Always worried about our jobs. It’s a terrible feeling. Many more of us will be let go within the year. I don’t even recognize the workplace anymore. There are so many already gone.
So they shooting to layoff 25% ? Who will be left to do anything?
And here we are after Chapter 11? Are we any better than we were before the restructuring? Chapter 22 is never good news. If everything is so rosy then explain why the CFO is exiting after the Q2 results?
Dont be silly! The restructuring means a turnaround is on the cards. I've heard Q2 reaslults are good. I'm actially hoping for a promotion. I've been networking good and am now friends with some directors and managers. I dont know much, but I'm in the circle and will hopefully go far. #oneweatherford
They will layoff until managers are the only ones left.
Of course! However, was not aware that they had stopped.
Layoffs have not stopped in the last 5 years.
why...it has just started...as anounced 25%...in 2021 again C11
