Yes, all the non-diverse, >40 scientists and executives recently culled have an excellent opportunity to work the assembly lines in their new Phoenix plant.
That industry is growing. The current employees are sometimes furloughed, unhappy with the benefit reductions by HON, and looking to escape too. Numbers YoY are inflated due to purchasing German company Transnorm only because the designs are in metric verses English.
Try their competitors before going there. Here are the Top 20: https://www.mmh.com/article/top_20_materials_handling_system_suppliers_2020
Dematic or Swiss Log are good ones to target for a new gig
Also, if you did go to Intelligrated, expect to travel.
Don't bother. Run from anything Honeywell affiliated.
If you apply and get any offer, no matter how small, you lose your severance.
Watched Honeywell layoff great hard working people in the past, only to try to rehire them as contractors with no benefits at two thirds to half their salaries just to have a job. The individuals literally had to start their careers all over again at Honeywell. Honeywell purchase Intelligrated in 2016. Honeywell-Intelligrated is a material handling automation and software engineering company based out of Mason, Ohio. In 2017, Honeywell Intelligrated reported revenue of $1 billion. Honeywell Intelligrated has production and service locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and China.
No one in their “Right” having been RIFed from Aero would return back at a non-competitive salary which is what ALT is going to offer.
At half pay?
