ABU Round 2 Announcement

Round 2 selections announced today in ABU. Diversity metrics reported that pre selection the round 2 leaders consisted of those with 25% who had 'diversity characteristics' (I'm assuming this means non-white male).

Post selection, the proportion of personnel with 'diversity characteristics' is 28%. Given there's around 60 chosen for round 2, an increase in one with diversity characteristics increases the percentage by 1-2%....

Not sure why they need to report this BS. Some interesting selections though... thoughts?

Guys! Cut it off and let’s hope for the best. The D&I in round 2 selection was a joke.

Everyone selected is equally incompetent regardless of gender, race or s-xual orientation

But all things being equal, are those "old white males" the best suited for the role?

Abu selections were less outright for the sake of diversity than in the US IMO. A sprinkle of female and minority in a pool of old white males.

Well MW is crawfishing on this now. I hope there is a class action. Not sure if it would hold up in this time but reverse discrimination is discrimination.
