Suppose painting by numbers with simple colours comes easy to someone with the mental IQ of a 5 yr old.

Shambles you say and yr right.

Shambles is a complete understatement. It’s all talk no action.

Plus we have the gift to worm ourselves out of any situation. The mantra is “supplier issue” did not deliver. Not to spec blah blah. Never oh we Goosed up Cos we are excellent in our class.

We are pants.

New KPI has been introduced. If a worker can park their car we can boost the plant.

What an absolute bunch of day dreamers

As a user of the Anson/Gateshead for many years it’s time to move on. Too many late deliveries, no commitment the end user. Poor quality in relation to documentation. Poor 3 coat paint. Always fail. Which costs me and my customers.

We don’t deal direct but from another branch.

The loss is nearly £2.5m pa. to the Anson product. your loss can procure cheaper with confidence in delivery. Our gain to meet contractual obligations.

Ever had one of those days which is murphries law. Where everything goes wrong. Sometimes we make our problems bigger by putting off not doing it right the first time round. Just gets harder and harder

I see your product managers ability to promote the Anson product is nothing short of nothing

Nothing on twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook.

I take my hat off to you. Sitting there taking the money. Doing the sum total of nothingness no to save us. Oh, ur a Stanley lad sorry yr safe.

The management style and processes used are so out dated

How many years does it take to make a plant efficient.

Eternity it would seem.

Example. Purchasing have no comprehension of anything they are buying. The supplier dictates what delivery we get. We are in a weak position

Engineering can’t go to the toilet without a full specification, but masters of hiding errors. Inability to deviate from a material which is completely unobtainable to a more obtainable one.

Sales continual bull being spinned to make them look busy

Production inability to plan, unable to machine to drawings, machine collisions

Despatch nothing their fault and all’s rosey

QA no idea what’s going on there but from what I see it’s car crash TV

The above is just a few observations

No wonder we’re in a mess

Management always have and always will do whatever they want, and get away with it, and until someone at a higher level finds out and sorts it out we're gonna have to live with it. You only have to look at what the fat useless labourer/ quality manager lololololol has got away with over the years. Sacking someone for smoking outside, when he was outside having a tab himself, just about sums the place up. Doing a fantastic job 👏👏👏 Redundancy payout soon hopefully, its the only thing keeping me there🙏

NOV are reducing working capital while we are producing it.

How does that work. When nobody is buying our product.

You would have thought the amount of office staff / Forman. who are on hourly rate of pay working 20-40 hours overtime a week.
We wouldn’t be at 25% OTIF

One major issue is having no supervision on the shop floor. Constantly hiding away in offices all day isn't going to sort out the problems we have.
Nobody in them offices gives a flying ffķk about whats going on, if they did they'd be amongst it, listening and acting upon suggestions, delegating tasks and improvements, basically just doing that little bit extra they should be doing in their roles instead of just turning up, sitting in an office, then doing what they should have been doing throughout the shift in a couple of hours overtime. But the truth is, none of them are capable of it. Inexperienced, uneducated blaggers, the lot of them.

Yes there is hatred, but not why you think, there is hatred because we care and are sick of seeing a great company getting destroyed by useless managers, and more useless people promoted because of where they live or whether they fawn over gullible managers . Open your eyes get on the shop floor and speak to people don’t just listen to your minions who say anything to make you happy, you don’t know what is going on because you are fed lies off your lower managers , it’s not too late, fit managers into roles they have knowledge of, not mates into roles because they are mates and the role is there

Everyone is shy to post.

There is one thing clear of all of NOV there is so much hatred if you have Manager in yr title and work in Gateshead.

I would not like to be a manager in Hateshead.

The second most hated site second to greengage. At least Gateshead site is in the top for something. Hang your head in shame, and equally hold it high ur in the top two most hated site in the UK. congratulations

There’s a KPI for that. It’s called failure.

Toilet cleaners, labourers getting very shy of publicity , as if no one knows what’s happening , must have a hotline to admin, getting posts deleted that highlight their very short comings and lack of any sort of experience and knowledge
