How is it possible that a simple zip password is all that stands in the way of sensitive information. Doesn't seem this would be possible. Could scare off some customers and current or future employees if the bar is really this low.

Remembering back to 2018 when Intel outsourced its IT Security to Infosys in India!
THIS what you get when you get rid of educated, qualified, professional, experienced people, and replace them with people who can barely spell security!
THIS is what you get when you think that you can hire 4 heads in Bangalore, for the cost of 1 person in the U.S., AND get the same level of quality!
THIS is what Intel is doing all over the company!
THIS is what Intel deserves!!!

This is a gold mine for AMD... Intel! Stop leaking your stuff! My god... Get some better security. Good grief. For a company that preaches security, you sure as heck aren't good at it...

If you find password protected zips in the release the password is probably either "Intel123" or "intel123". This was not set by me or my source, this is how it was aquired from Intel.

Can't say I'm surprised, people are lazy.
Another large tech company I used to work for commonly used an only-slightly more complex password. But it was never changed, so people who had left the team still could have access to things if they knew the password. It was an entry point into the system more than the company's Red team.

Intel exconfidential Lake Platform Release ;)

This is the first 20gb release in a series of large Intel leaks.

Most of the things here have NOT been published ANYWHERE before and are classified as confidential, under NDA or Intel Restricted Secret.
