Hi. Im a wells employee and Mandy Morton is getting ready to cut a ton of jobs. She has shown zero compliance knowledge and is only concerned with pushing the diversity card. Under her, wells has missed several key regulatory deadlines. Can someone please tell me why she left Chase? Was it the same game there?

MN was just as incompetent at Chase as she is at WF now. Unfortunately for WF, she is the entire companies CRO vs just one biz like while at high caliber JPM
I know Mandy well. She definitely left Chase voluntarily...it Was a no brainer...she became CRO for an entire company. The most important thing to know about her is that she is hyper-political. The only thing that matters to her is the perception her bosses and peers have of her, and her pet political causes. I witnessed her playfully ask her directs their views on gun control, then saw what happened to those who took her bait. I wouldn’t work for her again.
How big is the risk organization at jp? Have heard a Wells Fargo is bloated at around 11k
Not very impressive from the professional side , her first six years of her career at Chase Manhattan Bank, and joined JPMorgan Chase in 2011 as the chief risk officer for home lending.
Norton took over as Chase’s chief risk officer of consumer and community banking in 2013. In that role, Norton’s oversight for home lending, card services, auto finance, business banking, consumer banking, and payments.
Her earlier in her career, Norton worked at Ally Financial as a market assistant, also spent 14 years at Bank of America as a clerk.
As Wells Fargo’s risk officer, Norton will oversee all aspects of the bank’s public rekations with questionable relationships with two senior Directors
