Well times nigh to swallow pride bubba.

The company can’t cover dividend with free cash. Darren vía Niel has said they have capped the debt....so if debt is capped and free cash flow isn’t available how many more dividend payments are left. So the entire 12 billion or so in cash remaining can’t even pay next 4 quarters dividend ~15 billion

Most investors have already factored in the potential for a dividend cut. I’m curious how far the stock will really fall vs taking on more debt and being downgraded into the B’s

Selling assets to pay dividends is crazy too. Literally making the company smaller and giving it away.

Lol. The company prides itself on paying dividend through the low earnings season. Reducing the dividend will tank the stock price.

Only thing giving exxonmobil stock value is the reliable dividend. Once that goes, then exxonmobil stock goes to junk. There is no repairing damage after cutting dividend.

Reduce until free cash flows can pay. Tell investors we will have catch up dividends payments in the future then reduce to normal levels after value of missed dividend is repaid.
