Kyle M’s “Integrity Message”

So anyone know what happened? Kyle said two people who were perceived to be “high performers” engaged in serious misconduct, via kickbacks apparently. Anyone know any details?

Yep.. happens every once in a while. Now everyone will suffer as they ratchet down bids, purchasing, etc to a point where no one will be able to do their jobs....it’s the Verizon way

Where have you been all this time with your rendition and mantras??
You are full of yourself "if" you believe that VZ's IT Execs are at the top of their game and best in class to augment efficiency to the balance sheet.
VZ's IT Exec make decisions marked by spreadsheets and pptx files. These Execs' dont have any idea as to what the rank and file of the IT management hierarchy are accomplishing.
I am sure we will meet soon and I will explain in person.

IT's poor leadership, poor management and poor vision. Cost me and my household dearly. The ineffective culture does not bode well. All of the relegated poor IT issues started with the merger of GTE and the forming of Verizon. The GTE IT incumbents got the seats at the table and hence it has been one big blunder after another. Few of the former GTE IT executives have separated after the last big Infy rebadging. Need to clean house in IT from the top to the bottom. Innocent lives have been damaged by the worthless IT Senior Managers and above. Again, need to clean house in IT from the top and down to the IT Senior Managers.

So no names or initials. Quite interesting, I wish they investigated VES and its decade long offshore vendor relationships which are often managed by their spouse or in laws.

There was a leader who called out the games going on with IT and the vendors and he got fired . I am sure no one will step up to that now so not surprised it is running rampant

Again? Time to change the culture by getting rid of the SVP and VP of the organization where this occurred. What happened to the Credo?

Isnt it systemic , when the CIO is unable to hold his teams accountable for failed project , every incentive is to make power point based pumped and dumped project. They spend money with unrealistic deadlines on il-conceived projects which eventually fail but no one asks what happened tp the promises. Its only logical for such project manager to then run entirely self dealing projects . After-all there is no accountability. If the CIO had the guts to ask hard questions from his handpicked minions they will be prudent with the money. For the sake of our careers and shareholders a change in technological leadership is urgent.
