Fiserv doesn’t have people that work regardless of where they are.

It is tearing Frank up that COVID is forcing everyone to WFH. I God-guarantee that he has everyone back in the office as soon as COVID is no longer an issue

Frank B is 100% anti WFH. Probably before the all clear is given he will have everyone back in the office.

Companys need to sense the cultural changes that are happening due to COVID-19.

Folks priorities have changed. Family is now more important.
Health is more important.

The days of Fiserv window dressing problems and not really solving them must stop.
Good people who knew their stuff are gone or leaving due to their superiors not knowing the business they oversee or they resented the "do it my way or else" mentally.

Fiserv needs to ask more questions, then truly listen and positively act upon what they hear.

@@1uoa+16p2IAMA Well no, I disagree there, I am not a parent however I have friends who are and working from home allows them to pick kids up from school close by without the commute back from the office, and spend more time with them.. which is invaluable. If a child is sick, not a problem, be there in a minute and you can keep an eye on your kid. Also if kids are at toddler age, yeah fair enough, nursery or a nanny, whatever. But there are undeniable parts of parenthood that are easier when one is able to wfh.

@1mda+16p2IAMA when you say childcare is a nightmare, WFH is not a substitute for child care. That’s part of the problem with many.

It makes no sense to be in an office 9-5 monday to friday, I can do my job from my home just fine. It's a ridiculous, outdated working practice that needs to be seriously abolished, it doesn't work with family life, it makes childcare a nightmare, my commute is a waste of time. I wish the leadership team would listen to the employees who actually run the company and DO the ground work. Happy people are productive people!
