Vacation pay

I understand your vacation pay is part of your last paycheck. Do they take 401k dollars out of that portion? If off payroll is 9/4 im trying to understand if they will just deduct 401k based on the 4 working days or on the entire amount? Also anyone know how they handle HSA contribution?

Vacation pay in lump sum does not contribute to 401K. Only Salary for last 4 workdays contributes to 401K etc. They both are taxed.

The amount you have chosen for 401k deductions is drafted from your pay every pay period, and it will be drafted from your final “off payroll” check unless you change it the week prior to your pay period.

The only deductions I had in my last paycheck were for taxes. No 401k, no 409a

Incorrect. I had deductions take out. It was bundled with my last week so its more likely due to the last week earnings. They even took out medical. That part surprised me.
