Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

We were told to "cut the crust"

Our senior leaders advised us that we are to "cut the crust" and take a hard look at employees who are on UN's and close to term for attendance, adherence, compliance, and other metrics and try to "push to the edge" in terms of finding anything that can put these employees into term categories. We were told to get all timekeeping reports and compliance reports for 2020 and check to make sure every minute of occurrence and every compliance and quality point is applied. We are not even an area in which the cuts are supposed to have a wide effect. Those who are close to UN's do the same thing to "push to the edge". I am so tired of being forced to do these type of things.

Why would these people still be employed if they are not meeting performance expectations. Sorry but this is the reason for overhaul by home office. If more leaders would do their job and hold people accountable and dismiss them when they don’t meet goals then maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation.

The cruelty of this is satanic. Could Tom, Glenn, Eric, and the lot at least “fake” caring? Glenn is best at it. with his Maya Angelou quotes. Did they not take any drama classes in school ? This would at least numb the pain as we get slaughtered. Perhaps it’s too difficult a skill for them to practice. Too busy watching their personal balance sheets I guess. They sleep at night. You can do that when you take delight in destroying people’s lives. Pure evil.

UN is Unacceptable Notification. The flip side is if some of the rules were consistently applied some of those folks should’ve been termed already. Maybe this is a way to keep folks?
