Any thoughts on Right Managemet?

I have not heard anything from Right Management. I've been gone for 3 weeks from the company and am unsure as to what I should do. This is all a new space for me. I'm not sure if my supervisor were responsible for getting this set up for me or what. The same day I turned in my laptop is the same day my supervisor retired...
I think they are required to tell EM when you find a job and EM can stop paying you so that’s why I’m not using them.
I’ve been extremely happy with them. Things have changed so much since the last time I interviewed (in 2002)! I’m thankful for the guidance this program provides.
I'm an engineer in my 20's -> it's been good so far. Agreed with the first comment on this thread, and I'll add, they have periodic virtual career fairs. I went to one last week with Merck, 3M, Intel, and a handful of other companies hiring nationwide. On a separate not, your assigned career coach shares periodic "industry updates" with PDF's of companies hiring in each industry. Overall, worth it regardless of your stage of life, there is always more to learn! Most of the opportunity to find a new job comes from talking to people in your network, and they have a bunch of resources/live webinars addressing this
Any PIP’s I’ve heard of in the past at XOM we’re 6 months or a year. That says it all.
Prior to this crisis and the state Darren Woods had gotten us into. Do they do this for normal PIP-er? How EM approach this looks like a layoff.. anyway more to come..
Agreed. If you need to know the newest resume formats and attention-gettings, the tools can be helpful to a degree. Not the top of the line, by any means - actually kinda what you'd expect from the cheap chiseling managers of our favorite top 1000 corporations.
I've looked into them. So far, the lectures they offer leave a bit to be desired but I've only been to a couple. The nicest thing you get out of it are the tools, such as the resume builder/checker which runs it through ATS software. There's also 1:1 coaching, but the usefulness of that is dependent on your coach. It doesn't hurt to use, but don't expect any miracles out of it. If you have an up-to-date resume and understand how to network with LinkedIn, they don't have much to offer. If you've been at Exxon for 20 years and haven't done any resume/CV work or networking for awhile, you make get more mileage out of it.
