Yeah when merch gets $15 you know they're going to do something that will force people to reapply.

They're fine-tuning the workgroups after they see were they need improvements would be my take. We shall see.

The answer is because your job, at present, doesn't make 15 an hour. Don't limit yourself or your life. Change, get a better job.

This is complete BS. I work in maintenance and been there for 8 yrs now the only time I got a raise is when they upped the minimum wage. I do a hell of a lot more then clean bathrooms and mop floors. Fixing drywall, painting, building displays, repairing equipment when I can. I save our store a bunch of money, but of course they don't give a rats a– about that.
F over the ones that bust they tails, and give a pat on the back to the team leads that are as worthless as spit of a forest fire.

I agree so wrong merchandisers didn't get their raise. But I heard it's coming soon for u guys. As for them applying for one of front end jobs they can't. Nobody from floor can apply for front end job. Sorry to be the one to tell bad news I really am. Now as for saying cashiers or carts are useless that just not right. U do know u can go to lunch break or bathroom anytime u want but they can't. U do know cart guys are out there all day long in hot cold rain snow don't matter they are out there. Yes u guys may help some but consider it's all day long in those elements. They deserve 15 hour for sure. Merchandisers yes deserve their 15 to and I don't know why Walmart keeps doing this c-ap and just don't give to everyone. But I have heard it's coming to you guys very soon also. Now what is bad is the people who's been there for a number of yrs and now all these new ones who believe they are entitled make same. They need to make sure they give raises of some kind to people who make 15 already or who have been there more than say 3 yrs give them extra pay raise.

why should someone have to become a cashier to earn 15.00 an hour? all associates that are below 15.00 should also get that amount. does this company think by paying more that the useless cashiers in our club will be better employees? Will is stop them from gossiping, from being bullies to the new people, and then will they quit taking about the management? I think not. Merchandiser are viable important employees. They get torn in every direction. When I go back to receiving for something, I will get stopped 10 times by members. What will happen when the payroll is off the charts? PT hours will be cut...and when things go south people will lose their jobs.
