Why cart got raises and the other 3 big areas didn’t. First I’ll say I think every position in club should of went to at least 15 an hour so let’s get that out of the way. If all of the 3 areas had gotten raises and carts didn’t you can bet every cart associate would be trying to come to one of those positions but I’d be really surprised if any merchandiser, produce or maintenance associate will put in for a cart position when they come available. Yes I know most merchandisers go help carts but try doing it every day your entire shift. I don’t think the company understands or cares how it divides its employees when they do this c-ap. Do they really think this is going to help associates morale which is pretty bad and that usually leads to very poor customer service and at this point I cannot blame the associates.

Carts is hard f—ing work 8 hours.. few breaks. Constant demand and always under staffed they deserve it
Carts should get paid $18/hr. Not easy work. Feel sorry for those guys.
They could put in for cashier or member specialist or tire and battery or bakery or any of the other jobs that pay more. They don't have to stay where they are or put in for carts.
