Most Stable Part of the Industry At A Major Oil Company- Midstream, Upstream, Downstream?

Just wondering what you guys think is the most stable part (less frequent layoffs) of a company at a major oil and gas company- Shell, Exxon, Chevron, BP Etc

All of the trucks and SUVs sold in the last year will run on gas & I bet most were finance for 6 years. So peak demand is years away! Keep your Teslas in California!

None. The o&g industry is in a long term irreversible decline. Peak demand was on 2019- never coming back. It will be a grim place of constant cost-cutting, much like the coal industry. Don't let the view from Texas fool you, Texas is the new West Virginia, hanging on long after the rest of the world has moved on.
