I wish the ELT had set an example by foregoing their bonus, stock or salary for a while. I saw ICs offering to give up their bonus if it would save a job. But no gesture from any ELT members. Sad.

Rules for the general population don’t apply to the ELT. The ELT already prepared for this months ago while you were praising them for donating the money you helped to make, the ELT secretly were plotting ERs and LRs and telling you in your face no one was going to lose their job but could not look into the camera and shamelessly putting their heads down telling you how great these programs are for you and not for them.

ELT's have contracts. Their Golden Parachutes are signed before they arrive. The CFO most likely walked out with 8-figures and a lot more after that. In order to get another Exec to come in, it will cost a pretty penny and another Golden Parachute.

ELT are virtue signallers who are set for life

it's easy to joke about it when you are not affected by the decisions you make. ELT should have to live under the same rules as the rest of us but nope, they get a different health plan, different compensation plan, they are under contract, etc. Take a pay cut and save a few jobs but again nope, keep those millions rolling in while I let thousands of people go into a market of no jobs. How can this even be considered good leadership?

They did start with ELT, her name is Kelly Kramer. She obviously took her pre negotiated ER package.

Or ELT taking a pay cut would make a world of difference.
