If you don't take this ER package, your next stop will be option 2 (a 20% pay cut). Then once you've been on option 2 for a few weeks, Cisco will roll out the LR red carpet for you. At this point your LR package will be based off your option 2 wages.

I think Cisco HR is trolling this site to make us think this package is positive.
If you take this package it’s because you already had one foot out the door. It’s not a good package to give up a career. If so that’s great. I don’t know if anyone I’ve spoken to whose taken it.

The RSU acceleration is up to Feb 2021, at least for me. So that's a loss. It's easy to overlook that fine point. I was counting on RSU to offset the less than optimal COBRA $$. But they're cheating you out of RSUs and expiring them.
You are simply id–tic not to take the package if you are eligible.

I did the same and I know in Oct higher grades will be targeted based on seniority and grade level. Can not risk it.
