Anyone get the email outlining the ER package? Still waiting. I love how, other than giving vague brush strokes about your impending EOL, you have no idea about how it's going to happen. Who sends the email, Fran? My manager? My director? My SVP? What am I supposed to look for? What if I qualify yet don't get an email? And the next Check-in is Sept 9th. You would think there would be a weekly follow up on such matters.

Do we know for sure that all USA emails have gone out (interested in West Coast) now, so if you didn't get one, then you wont?

Managers have a pretty good idea, even without a list. Many managers themselves also qualify. I wonder what the macro level plan is for the holes left by this:
- Combine groups - less managers, spread workload in new groups.
- Hire early-in-career as replacements. After all, those older network guys don't understand software.
You manager will NOT be aware of who is eligible or receive the emails. They would only be notified if you hit the Accept option.
I recommend a few related movies:
The Expendables.
The Man with the golden gun. (Note: the "bad guy" Francisco Scaramanga was actually an HR staff reduction specialist and he offered payouts (the "golden gun" ) to employees and bond was worried because of his age and IPF.
Reading emails at 7am eastern —- that’s the hardest this guy has ever worked.
Go binge watch some Netflix and check back later today... like everyone else.
Just starting my day with some tea and awaiting for the email I am ready for change.
