Once you depart Verizon, you can transfer all of your pension into a 401k brokerage rollover account. No tax consequences and complete freedom to invest your pension funds anyway you choose - best decision I've made in past year with the markets strong performance.
Thanks, was hoping I could lump Doepension and have my financial advisor manage it. I still have a few years left to work but am retirement eligible
