Revoke ER and Avoid LR?

Sep 2: Last day to accept ER
Sep 8: Cisco Accepts (or declines) your request
Sep 21: Early exit date ( upon approval)
Oct 5: Sign ER papers and normal exit
Oct 12: Last day to Revoke ER acceptance and get reinstated

Oct 7: LR begins

Question: If one accepts ER and then revokes It by Oct 12 can LR be avoided?

Not really, the HR reps are outsourced to Xerox! They're not Cisco employees.

But, yes, this could have been handled better. At least this time they're more transparent about it unlike all the LR's between '11 and now.

Suppose that you qualify for the ER and decline it. The hope is that you get the same offer in an upcoming LR. However, they go back and deduct the months from you stayed on from your offer. So, instead of 9 months, your LR is 6 months. Granted there would be 3 months at 100% vs 80%. It's just a ponderance at this point..

Three separate axe's swinging, try to dodge each one of them. Stay nimble.

I was thinking the same thing. If you accept the ER you will not be on the LR list as they will have already counted you as leaving. Looks like they missed a loophole. However I bet you are targeted next quarter for beating the system.
