Aero staked its future on content won on a number of new platforms years ago, that were supposed to be on new and improved aircraft just hitting their stride during this time. Many of those programs are/were behind and the promised deliveries aren't there. COVID has postponed many of them for at least 3 - 4 years, and ended many others. With nothing new on the table (that actually works), Aero's 5 - 10 year revenue horizon is dismal. HON may survive, but Aero is on life support.
GE didn't gut it's technical capability in it's engineering. GE invested in it's future. That's why it's still circling the bowl and is dying a slow death. Honeywell has done neither. And now the only incoming orders in aero are for military contracts. Even that capability has been hobbled to the point of not meeting contractual production volumes with no end in sight. All while adding more layers of useless, unprofitable layers of boot-licking, yes-man, weak b1tches called "leaders". There is no growth except by M&A to claim another company's hard work. I figured out the decoder ring and that's while I'll be thriving in a non-toxic company long after the zero profit aero division has gone the way of Jack Welch. Why don't you stoop a little lower to kiss the a$$es of ALT. Be careful. The difference between kissing a$$ and brown nosing is something you completely lack: depth perception.
@nkk Honeywell or the Titanic will not sink. Just like GE with how it is had not sunk. Honeywell will just reinvent itself while holding onto its Aero business for it is still far too profitable to let a temprorary event like Covid-19 jeopardise business looking ahead.
It will, though, maintain its profitability which the margins are far better than other SBG at the moment by continously reducing costs. In other words, Honeywell will survive and probably grow in the next couple of years but you might not.
Soon to be former DV site leader in A.A.
DV – was that A.B.?
Meanwhile they keep pumping the stock
Moderators have to be sensitive less the site be shutdown from false accusations.
Calling out names isn't neccesary since we already know who those individuals are.
I don't think site leaders are high enough on the totem pole to be named or identified in some other way, I'm guessing that's the reason why moderators removed it. Could be wrong, though...
DV site leader is gone after this week. That one was smart and got it while the gettin' is good. Time to find another place for everyone before this Titanic sinks.
