It's getting ridiculous how often the local branches in my area are being closed.

Chase bank is closing branches too , some branches have dates for October and November of this year
Yes branches are dying. You don't need an $800 plus phone either. Unless you live in a large city they will continue to close. Ones that are still open will have less people too. They closed the BOA branch in my town so now my accounts are at the CU around the corner. My BOA checking & saving accounts are open with $1.28 in one and $1.00 in the other. Sometimes you need to walk into a branch.
Wells is closing branches too.
Branch Banking is a dinosaur. The branch is in your pocket...running on the $800 smartphone.
