Can anyone provide insight between the timing of the actual email invite notification to the actual meeting with HR?

@onp how do you know this? Know someone who's been on either end of the engagement? Has this been happening this week?
invite comes on the same day of the meeting. it will come from your manager and it will be made to seem like some sudden routine call except on the call when you are told hr is on the line, you know whats up. treat any non-occuring meeting invite from your manager as a possibility of being termed
Just a tip but if someone clears your calendar for meeting be worried.
