you're confused the cwa represents its members and negotiates fair wages and work practices.representation stops an abusive manager in their tracks, money well spent.

The union has been full of lazy a-holes for years. I paid dues for 17 years before going into management. Now I’m just accountable for myself and not paying to protect laziness. And since I’m in engineering I get OT and benefit with big bonuses on top of that. Yea, sure. I miss the union LMAO!! Keep paying for claud Cummings mansion s—ers

We were sold down the river 20 years ago. In district 6 we just had a contract pushed through without a member vote. CWA assures is nothing changed. LIARS AND THIEVES!! Our insurance alone can over double within the term of this extension. It’s amazing actions such as these are never covered my the media. I’ve been a paying member for 25 years. Not once has the union helped anyone deserving. Pathetic!

Got out after 20 years, you’d think someone would have called to ask why, nope!

CWA...member for 39 years.
In the 80's and 90's was decent. Still a good old boys network..but defended the worker.
Then the new guys showed up. Had the numbers and got other new folks elected.
Took damned near every Friday as "Union Business". Then be gone by noon from the hall.
"We need to rotate weekends, and holiday vaca."
Well that's not what the contract says. I've more weeks of vaca than you have years of service.
"We'll make a local agreement."
Never happened, as management knew not to pi$$ of the senior workers, who actually knew how to fix stuff.
Contact district 4 and they'd tell the local new guy prez to "control your members." From their $90K a year job from their lake house. And you'd never get a response.
FCWA.
