Based on numbers published internally, it seems that the IBM IaaS and PaaS revenues would be a small fraction of the $24 billion claimed as annual cloud revenue. Like 1/12th or 1/24th, perhaps even a lot smaller. IBM is a pimple on the (Amazon and Azure) cloud elephants butt when it comes to real public or private cloud revenue.
I guess everyone is just making up revenue numbers now. MS including LinkedIn and Office365. The only cloud numbers that really represent cloud is Amazon. Maybe they should start to include revenue from sales of books about the cloud in their totals.
