@ude+170OwrZ8 Income inequality is caused by globalization. Manufacturing jobs migrated to low cost countries, driving down wages for US workers. Now our tech jobs are migrating too. Pretty soon we will have greater equality.....because more people will be broke.

I can understand why EM Europeans that move to the U.S. these days still love it. It is because they are usually mgmt/executive expats, receiving perks of that most U.S. employees do not see. Anybody coming into the U.S. with high income will be able to buy your way out of the struggles of middle class life, as is true with any wealthy person here.

@dgk+170OwrZ8 same can be said about Europe...

Also, define rich in America... EM employees are far from being rich in America, but lead very comfortable lives.

@dgk+170OwrZ8 - interesting. One of the reasons I moved to America was because I thought that Europe was going down the pan. I haven't seen anything since to make me change my opinion. I'd still rather be in the USA than in Europe.

1) Debt Increases - Spending Money on Servicing Debt, Collapse in Public Services
2) Printing Money, Trashing Dollar - Getting Relatively Poorer
3) Rising Superpower Challenge to the US - China's after US
4) Fraying of Common National Threads - Identity Politics Boost on both Left & Right tear the nation
5) Income inequality, distribution of wealth gaps - People will just be constantly p-ss-d and hopeless
