In which survey?
Plus you have all the naive freshly graduated or folks from some 3rd world sh–holes as new hires who are told fairytales and still believe that they mean something and vote like crazy...
The "Best Place to Work" title is bought with advertising and consulting fees for the company that runs the contest/sells the title. So it means next to nothing.
It's a fear induced result. Nobody believes the anonymous surveys are anonymous, this results in everybody replying positively about working at Cisco.
I guess the business needs more bureaucrats and brown-nosers.
No argument about a constant stream of LRs being bad but why do people think a performance review will make a difference? The LRs are based on the business needs, not employee performance (according to Cisco).
10 years of constant layoffs without a performance review. Sounds like a great place to work.
