Here in Phx, we suddenly moved to the Hertz counter and said it was temporary because our lines in all 3 brands were too long for the staff to handle each brand so now we are doing all 3 brands at the Hertz counter and the lines are worse, they took away the dtag signs in the car lot, heard it was the same at lax and sfo....my mgr told us they said Hertz will survive but have to get rid of dtag/dolan to accomplish this but not to worry, Hertz will absorb all the dtag employees..We have been so darn busy in Phx, idk how some of you write that your cities are dead, we are hiring 8 more agents just to keep up w the business but it looks like Hertz only..Has anyone else heard anything about dtag?

update on Phx, the lines go so bad we got in trouble from the airport so effective today dtag goes back to its counters...yay.

Hertz best case maybe doing half our volume and dtag always out cars. One day and it mid day were just giving folks dodge ram trucks for mid size reservations.
Stop pondering the different senerios. The entire operation will be liquidated next summer. Start looking for work now. The Senior Leaders are already planning their exit strategies. Only destitute fools will stay until the spring.
DTAG has been renting out of Hertz here in Milwaukee since April if not early. But that was due to all the people they let go and not having enough to man Both sides.

It’s a means to an end. DTAG will go before Hertz. But in the end, all will go.
DTAG is going down with the ship, who would want it? All the debt and no business. Donlen will most likely be spared due to being sold off.
