R4 Positions - new but not at all improved Power BI dashboard

What a swell idea to use Power BI - It's super slow and will only get worse when thousands more employees try to go in at once and search for jobs. It took well over 10 minutes to load something after only the first filter. Well done, HR and Sponsor Group! Enjoy your R&A while the rest of us experience growing frustration trying to use your sh-t tool. As if it's not already a challenging and stressful time.

@3kwd the We Lead statement would go something like this:

I furthered Chevron's march to put all their eggs in Microsoft's basket by providing them with the full slate of jobs that they can use in their future managed services take-over bid to Chevron replacing the majority of all Digital jobs currently held by employees and non-Microsoft contractors.

@2nqw Fired? Are you kidding? Whoever conceived and executed the idea to use Power BI probably got a promotion!

They claim the problem has been fixed but I am not seeing it. On the site it says you can copy and past an individual row into another spreadsheet or document. Okaaayyyy so wtf can they just not allow for export to excel??

My HR friend told me that they were told it was for data protection and they made a conscious decision not to allow for exports. But yet they say you can copy past (albeit one row at a time, thanks) to another document.

Omg yes it is so annoying that we could not just stick to one platform like a simple share point list

Don’t blame Power BI for the slowness. Humans had to make choices that slowed it down that much.

The TO is probably patting itself on the back for that enhancement.

How hard is it to publish a list of jobs? The execs should look it this and realize that all those fancy power points and metrics that tell them how great digital is going are nothing more than a bunch manipulated garbage intentionally designed to keep them in the dark.

Marketing :- the science of convincing the consumer to make an emotional purchase choice rather than one based on rational choices. I'd like to exterminate every single marketing person in the world. and we would have a utopia, one can dream. lol Chevron is a marketing company. Once you understand this thats all you need to know really.

Power (BI) Bullschit Incompetance, another Bill of Goods from MSFT. Nothing ever changes , it's all the same. I gave up expecting it to be any good long time ago.

After all what is Microsoft's Sharepoint but a gale bunch of c-appy services cobbled together and re-branded "Sharepoint" , another marketing term that makes everyone think it's actually good. Yeah right, When ever the truth comes out after a few years they re-brand it and claim it the next best thing. Microsoft and Chevron deserve each other.

It's not HRs fault. IT laid off all the engineers that designed our last tool. Every last one of them in 2015.
