CX doesn’t have the talent to make that buggy software “work”. Also, CX architects are just c-appy project managers.
Customer Advocacy/Services/CX has been trying to k–l off the SE organization for 15 years. The SE leadership spent a significant amount of time fighting this battle. It looks like it's finally been lost.
Customers will now be charged for services to make the buggy software delivered by Engineering work in their environment. That's a great value proposition!
Which other companies use this pooled model because Cisco doesn’t do anything that a consultant doesn’t tell them based on the rest of the market.

AMs will fill out a survey on your performance after every meeting. You will be tracked by how many deals you close a day.
I buy it for TSA but not SA because AM are not good enough to handle.

It is unbelievable how ridiculous CX has become. It is a train wreck and attempts to show progress for each Partner Summit are tragically comical. It is a shell of its former self. Talk about shifting the deck chairs.
I also agree, left cause V3momma was destroying AS, CX is a joke, I felt my only equals were the sales architects, most of my CX peers were just NCEs trying to figure out how to be a advisor, but default to only singular tech thoughts, not about nextgen offerings or any business oriented outcomes.

The CX hires are absolute trash and a complete joke much like all of CX. Total embarrassment. This will be a huge mistake to get rid of TSA's and SE's.
Agreed have not met a single “architect” from CX worth a damn.
Word is starting to get out but plan is for October or November.

Maria and CX want CX architects to replace Sales SE/SA's in Enterprise. I see this happening in the next 12 months....
Supposably ALL account SA removed now there is cross architecture specialty.
Commercial SE AM and SSS are all just highly paid overlays to the channels who spend most of their time updating Salesforce, chasing down deals with the channels and attending twice weekly forecast calls.

The way I heard is they pull account se off all but biggest customer.
They are calling it pooling.
If they turn TSA's into call center GVE model all the quality talent will leave. Another leadership failure decision to continue the brain drain.
