Love how for years now we are leaving and the ending is coming soon or the big announcement. We are not going anywhere at least for the 5-10 years. For all the cry babies go find a nothing job that has the flexibility, generous paid time off and not having a boss ( unless you have a new young pup dm like we have on our team) looking over your shoulder every minute. If you don’t like the job go find something just as good. We all had jobs during Covid unlike many other companies in this country. Stop your &@?$!]% crying and go to work

I truly believe it is 1 ex Keebler rep that keeps posting over and over again.. Always gives dates and keeps saying DSD is ending soon. Most likely still has not found a job
So sad to read posts from those who aren't willing to accept reality. It will take a call from HR for those to realize DSD over and Mondelez, just like the others, are leaving DSD for a more affordable supply chain model. Mondelez, like other consumer goods companies, will change with the times, if they don't they won't survive. How simple is that.
10-15 years...hahahahahaha! Keep dreaming! Look around, unless you are dumb enough to believe CAO and EDI are all apart of the "new DSD", instead of investments made by retail partners moving towards a warehouse model. And also investing millions in building new DC's...and of course the DC's of Mondelez that currently sitting half empty. Been told they were purchasing to run more lines but that was years ago, and they continue to expand these DC's. Looks more like a move to prepare to for warehouse.
She wouldn't elaborate on when the announcement was coming. Just that changes were being made at the 1st of the year. Her tone sounded like we would find out after the end of the year

They wouldn't say what the changes are but both of them said that changes are coming in Q1 2021.
I agree with the poster. We are definitely 5 to 10 years out of us exiting DSD. I know its coming eventually but we are still a few years off before they have everything in place. Once all the stores are EDI like Walmart and literally writing their own orders that will be close to the end. Target just went CAO this year in our region and Kroger has been for over a year. They have not gone to EDI just yet.

They say “Go find another job...”My DM told me that we are COMMITTED to DSD”...”I still have a job during COVID” 🤣 First, 90% of us USED to work for this lousy excuse of a company and we all are smart enough to know that your DM puppets are using you to pad their wallets and believe me, we have ALL moved on from this train wreck waiting to happen. Second, just keep listening to your DM and they’ll be committed on sending you to an early retirement when the news drops. Finally, working without PPE, dealing with sick people exposing you to a disease that could make you ill or even k–l you and your loved ones is not something to just brag about. Where was your DM at? Were they at the store helping you fill your outs or supply you with PPE to protect you? Nope! They were at home watching TV and reminding you to make sure you hit that #! What a joke!
