There's a possibility, albeit small one, that layoffs may not occur until November, irrespective of whether LD1 happens in October or not. As imminent as LD1 is, it's still possible layoffs may be pushed out another month.

This speculation is nonsense. I do think it’s important to remember that if they want to do layoffs, they’ll likely do it 60 days before year end so the employees can be off the payroll by 1/1/21
There’s also a possibility they won’t happen in November.
