Another Survey

So how many surveys do we need to take before upper management realizes we all think they are a bunch of unethical liars???

The surveys are instigated to generate the perception of caring and that imminent change (for the better) is on the way. The perception is the goal. Changes are not. L3 is a mediocre company in a niche market, managed by blood s—ing executives. Set your expectations thusly.

Besides surveys, how much more random corporate mandatory training are we going to have to click through on the computer and acknowledge?

Enough to protect upper management and leave you holding the bag should anything go wrong.

To use the words 'brilliant' and 'Human Resources' in one sentence is comical. That said, surveys are just another excuse for several departments to claim how hard they are working for "employee satisfaction" and "work/life balance" among all of the worthless phrases that they live by. Don't forget, they have to justify how they spend their time, and party throwing can only get so much traction at corporate.

Be patient. s-xual harassment, blatant racism, time card fraud and creating faulse position's for buddies has been reported to not only the very highest level it has also caught the attention of certain government agencies. Investigations into fraud of government funds take time. You will all see massive changes company wide in some months from now. This is the reason for them shoving surveys down our throat all of a sudden. They are trying to show some type of credibility with the manipulated positive results. I expect within the coming years l3harris gets dissolved due to the extreme illegal actions going on there. There are many competing companies that would gladly take the extra business. Take logs of everything you can. You may get pulled in for a random interview and dated logs will be gold in getting rid of these criminals aka managers. My advice is, go somewhere else. This company is seeing the beginning of the end.

being subjected to endless surveys is a guaranteed slow and steady death. I'm so sick of this company that I can't hold back what i have to say

Human Resources is manipulating the surveys as they are only reflecting the positive responses at the 75-80% percentile and up. I know as I was previously in HR. My assumption is this time around senior management is "going through the motions" (as they always do) to reshuffle the deck and promote another layer of worthless employees into a key leadership positions. HR is padding their so-called strong performance record. However this time around, the "cornfield mafia" mentality has to be more conniving to fool the Harris people into believing the promotions are a great thing for the overall organization which will result in some undefined cost savings (which translates into smaller bonuses and zero raises) and streamlining of business operations (these words will exist in the forthcoming announcement).

Enough so somebody in HR gets an award or promotion (or both) for their brilliant innovation in conducting employee surveys.
