Is it just me, or does anyone who was part of the cut think this was not based on performance but instead on seniority & pay (the higher, the worse?) You can't tell me that people with most experience and highest pay are suddenly the worst performing ones? Who are they trying to kid???

I don't have seniority, perform as expected or above expected as far as metrics, definitely don't make a lot and was let go.
In the meetings in June, it was stated that tenure would be 5% of the overall decision but never confirmed if it would work to the employees advantage or not (ie. more tenured employees get to stay, rather than be terminated) some transparency. Sneaky move to cut higher salaries regardless of performance
My CSL 26 years in and one guy the most tenured in my team got the axe. The rest under 2 years stayed.
As a VA tl adjuster that had been affected, hearing that folks who hung up on tl calls pisses me off. But at the end of the day all they care about is production and not the right thing.
Layoffs are always done that way even though they’ll never admit it
So far, the people I expected to go have gone, but it’s only been entry level positions so far. Today it’s the more senior positions, so we’ll see if my stance changes.
It definitely seems to hit ppl with more seniority and higher pay in our office
Yep. Been saying that since day one. All the other stuff was bull so they can’t be sued. Why else will they not let us see our assessment results?
Oh I agree completely. All I saw were team mates that were heavy hitters and had impressive expertise get hit. Then I see people who were cheating the system (VA) and hanging up on total loss calls keep their jobs.
At this point its all speculation. I know I did good on that assessment. I finished all the puzzles. I have seen folks who been with the company a long time and a top performer get cut. I have seen new people get cut. I am fairly new, 16 months, I got cut. Those assessments were some bs. I think they asked the managers pick a number to cut and thats what they did. At this point, its all speculation. F@#k Allstate is how I feel. If they aren't showing the results if the assessment, I say bs!
Maybe that assessment you all took was designed in a way that penalizes older people and/or people who stay in jobs longer?
