Nobody knows who in the hell NS is. There is no dark horse lurking around. The next ceo will be from executive team.

NH is clear successor to JJ, and likely MW. Who are these D&I management promotions that must be protected? From round 2?
JG and JJ are only around to do the transformation dirty work, and to protect the recent (Last couple years) D&I management promotions from being exposed as hollow and clueless. Expect both to retire, with big fanfare, early 2021. All that was worked out late 2019 when the FT started. PB is not CEO material, he neither looks nor talks the part. No clear successor for MW, but he (or she) will have to materialize in the next couple years, as MW will retire rather than cutting the dividend.
JJ will retire soon and NH will ascend. In five years MW will retire and NH will move up. PB retires in a year or two.

PB does not have it to be CEO. By the way I loved his video telling us layoffs and the decision to find the dividend are not related. I guess he thinks we are all clueless because his arguement did not make sense and he lost a lot of credibility.
Look for a female or diversity candidate for next CVX CEO.

Not Chevron CEO material. Too hot headed. Not well spoken. Just a blunt instrument. The hatchet man in charge of a black hole collection of cost centers. The loyal a$$hole you give the dirty work to so you can keep your hands clean. Universally disliked. Narcissist. Low emotional intelligence. As empathetic as a wet towel. Too short and too ugly to be the face of the company. Just another k–ler that knows how to climb up and stay there. Smart and rich no doubt, but a piece of sh!t none the less.
