Frankly, I'm glad BCBS of Michigan opted for voluntary separation offers rather than outright layoffs. I know a few people who will be happy to accept. Hopefully, if there is enough takers out of the 8500, the rest of us who actually want to stay will be able to remain here. I guess the only thing to do now is wait and pray.

So looking at executive bonus compensation in 2019 you wouldn't think executive leadership would be seeking voluntary separations a year later.
Also historically bcbsm generally shoots for 10% reduction in force
I wonder how close to target they got. Window ended one week ago. Very nervous about it.
