Break my butt for years at The House of Morgan and I get laid off as my thanks. Multiple MDs, EDs, and VPs let go today. Culture is lousy. Managers are lousy. Wasted a lot of years staying.

I was RIF'd in early 2019 and sorry to see so many people are impacted by this one. I can tell you I wish I had left long prior to the RIF. I worked 60-80 hours and gave up so many things, such as quality time with my family. It's a choice I made that I regret. In the end I was tossed to the curb like so many others.
Can't agree more with the original poster. It's a lousy culture and environment to work in. So many people put in long hours and go the extra effort for little to no reward.
For those still employed I encourage you to put in your 40 and call it a day. If your team / manager isn't supportive then find another group. If you can't then move on from Chase. The sacrifices you are making aren't worth it.
Great idea but, you need to find a lawyer willing to take these inquiries due to security and privacy.

There is no loyalty anymore. Expect nothing. Do your job, collect your paycheck, and always keep an eye out for another opportunity. Everyone is expendable, particularly at Chase. Best of luck to all those who got notice this week.

Which group and city were you cut from?
Texas in my case but you can insert whatever city is giving them tax breaks and salaries are lower. Seen it for past several years.
