Seemingly an increasing rollout of redundancies and big changes are happening across EMEA, sentiment is that some of the rash decisions will have big implications.

UK and EU gov programs are restricted to non-EU citizens. Also, certain European customers are requesting work to be done on the European soil (check geo-return policy). So if you don't have employees in Europe, you will lose these customers. Hundreds of EU employees already lost their jobs. Did those hundreds of jobs went to US? I don't think so...
@1gcd: About 60% of Honeywell employees are outside of the USA with a large amount in Europe. It's quite possible they're giving their opinions with down votes. I highly doubt HR has any interest in this thread.
@zrg Redundancy is Eurospeak for layoff.
The comment about the executive order is a sarcastic joke. Jobs are unlikely to return to the us. The shareholder is more important than the employee. I’m lucky. I left Honeywell 11 years ago and work for small company. We can’t outsource. We must remain competitive.
I can tell there is a HR Troll in this post by his negative (red) ratings.
Ha....for those that think it's all going to US you forgot one other large continent.
Sign an executive order to mandate all work in Europe return to the us.
Move all Europe work to US......
What do you mean redundancies ?
What sites are affected ? Up to now, there has been quite low amount of layoffs. Probably, the time is up...
