Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Does anyone in the 'new hire' ranking bucket get ranked above Excellent?

For anyone in this last ranking cycle that was less than 2 years at company (new hire grace period), what is the highest possible rank to achieve? My soup told me that they cannot rank anyone in the new hire bucket higher than Excellent but not sure if this is true. In the old ranking system, most if not all of the new hires would fall in the 50% rank. What is the equivalent rank to 50% in the new system?

I was a new hire (hired on Aug 2019) who was ranked after being told we wouldnt be and given the NSI category for reasons out of my control... you don’t have a grace period. I signed my papers at the end of July and am no longer an employee of XOM.

Supervisor here - if you were hired off campus, you are “MAC”ed until the cycle where you hit 2 years. There are 3 options, NI, Very Excellent, Excellent

Experienced hires are MACed until the cycle when they hit 1 year

I know one who got the top rank, but it was an experienced hire with 2 years of experience.

We weren’t given that option. Excellent for us was the highest possible.
