Isn't IOTG basically a marketing organization? Meaning, they just market existing Atom chips as IOT processor solutions by pairing them with some Intel connectivity chip, slapping them together on a PCB and voila some "new" Intel IOT product.

No company will ever purchase IOTG. Check the competition and see how many awesome and incredible companies develop integration hardware / software and devices. There are incredible companies with deep expertise that make IOTG look like you know what....

IoTG has been under worked and overpaid for 10+ years. The only thing that ever changes is the group name. It would be nice to see that team go. It's dead weight.
